If you can’t get to a NFL game because you’re in Las Vegas, the next best place to be is one of the legendary sports bars. Las Vegas sports bars are second to none in terms of size, screens, snacks, varieties of beer and pumping punters. If you want to sleep in before heading to the sports bars, you can always do online football betting in your hotel room before going out.

With so many bars across the Las Vegas valley it’s a hard job to choose the best. But here’s a smattering of some Vegas sports with rave reviews from locals and visitors.

Steiner’s Pub

Voted Best Sports Bar numerous times in the Best of Vegas Awards, Steiner’s is popular with locals and visitors for delicious food and multiple hi-definition plasma TVs. The beer menu includes over 70 beers from imports, micro-brewed stouts the range of European bars and ales too.

MVP’s Sports Lounge

This large sports bar with a number of televisions around the room is an awesome place to hang out and pig out (the Johnny Vegas Fries are legendary). This bar is clean and not seedy, but still has pool tables, a pinball machines and showcases NFL games.

Mr. D’s Sportsbar & Grill

This is the kind of bar where the owner walks around and knows everyone. The ecliptic locals are super friendly as they chomp down on the cheap eat and drinks available.   Watch the game in the heated beer garden with a fire place outside.

Blondie’s Sports Bar

Blondies has been voted the Best Sports Bar in the country by MSN.com & Gayot. It’s located right on the The Strip, inside the Miracle Mile that surrounds Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino. There is a TV everywhere you look and their food menu is diverse and delicious.

PT’s Pubs

PT’s is another reliable Vegas chain with more than 30 outlets across the city, a huge food menu and multiple plasma television screens throughout. They have complimentary of Golden Tee golf and bowling videos games, pool tables, dart machines and of course, video poker. They are also (in)famous for their crazy Happy Hour especially when it overlaps with sporting events.
