Our Gold Coast Apartment in Broadbeach

We are commonly asked about the types of accommodations we stay in while we travel.  And while we normally opt to stay in the cheapest option a location has to offer, every once in a while we find a good deal on a hotel or apartment that we just can’t pass up.  It does come with one condition: We will only stay in hotels or apartments if they are furnished with a kitchen.  This way we can pay for the room with the money we save by not eating out for every meal.

When we got to Broadbeach on Australia’s Gold Coast, we were very lucky to find the Hi Ho Beach Apartments.  The complex is ran by a Tim and his wife Natalia who also live right at the property.  We always prefer to stay in locally-owned or locally-operated accommodations, and Tim and Natalia at the Hi Ho Apartments reminded us of exactly why we do that.  They were helpful from the moment we walked into the lobby to the day we left.  Helping us get oriented with Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, and Currumbin Beach, as well as giving us plenty of advice of where to go and what to see around the area.

The apartment was perfect for us, and we highly recommend the Hi Ho Beach Apartments to anyone spending time on the Gold Coast and looking to save some money in a self-contained accommodation.
