Do you want something different for your vacation this year?  Do you want to go somewhere off the beaten track, and avoid the overcrowded tourist destinations?  Do you want to create memories to treasure for the rest of your life?

If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, get yourself to gogocharters.com and rent yourself a coach right now, then read on to learn about potential destinations:

1. Charleston, South Carolina

Charleston is the second largest city in the state of South Carolina, and so can offer everything that you could ever want in terms of nightlife, historical and cultural attractions, places to eat, and so much more.  Add to that, Charleston is right on the coast, so anybody who wants to soak up the sun can do so on miles of uninterrupted beach.

Charleston is famous for its Seafood and Steak restaurants, and – of course – the ever-famous Charleston Chew!

2. New Braunfels, Texas

New Braunfels, though original a German colony, isn’t part of any Texan cities.  It sits near San Antonio, near the centre of the state.

There are a wide variety of indoor and outdoor pursuits to enjoy, and since New Braunfels lies near a city, there is no shortage of culture and restaurant availability either.

Hurry though – New Braunfels is growing in popularity!

3.Orange Beach, Alabama

Enjoy the sun at this wonderful beach, with white sand and warm gulf water.  This relaxing location will spirit any stress or worries away, leaving you to enjoy your vacation in peace.

This beach has the distinction of being home to the largest Ferris wheel in Southeast America.  The wheel is housed at the Wharf, a collection of shops, restaurants and play areas which both adults and children can enjoy.

4. Tybee Island, Georgia

This island is perfect for a relaxing vacation – with only three thousand permanent residents, it never feels crowded, allowing visitors to take in the relaxed Southern feel.

The main attraction, of course, is the three-mile-long beach.  But if you get tired of soaking up the sun, there are plenty of galleries to buy jewelry in, and plenty of restaurants to eat food in.

5. Virginia Beach, Virginia

This beach differs from others on this list due to the higher waves it gets: this is the perfect beach for anybody who likes to surf.

For people who don’t, it is still a wonderful beach!  Virginia Beach in particular has a spectacular nightlife surrounding the various restaurants and boardwalks around it.  Because of the emphasis on nightlife (not to mention the sea activity which makes it suitable for surfing), this destination is perhaps better suited to adults-only trips, rather than family ones.

6. Newport, Rhode Island

This destination is slightly different to the other ones, and not just because it isn’t in the South.  While it is home to a few beaches, they aren’t the same sandy white ones as in the above examples – the different climate has led to spectacular scenery and woods for walking in.

As the official ‘vacation White House’ destination, there is a lot of history and culture to be seen in Newport, as well as some of the best seafood in Rhode Island.
