Take a break from your busy schedule and escape to the lovely tropical country of Thailand.

Among all the cities in Thailand, Bangkok is the only city that boasts a subtle mixture of modernism and traditional Thai characters. Although the city becomes more and more modern, Thai tradition is still involved in many life aspects.

This capital city is an exact answer to your unexciting and boring life. Bangkok keeps you excited during day and night. Your eyes will be indulged in the magnificent views of temples, your mouth will savor the tasty Thai food, and your soul will enjoy the lively atmosphere this city offers.

Nightlife is one of the most popular activities to enjoy while you’re here. Check out these must-visit Bangkok nightlife spots.

Experience Bangkok nightlife like a local

Bangkok nightlife is not merely about bars and clubs. The city offers a broad range of night entertainment that you won’t find elsewhere.

Places like Sukhumvit and Khao San Road are very touristy and foreigner-friendly. Tourists and expats fill up the place more than locals. If you want to enjoy an authentic Bangkok nightlife, then go to a Thai bar or club, where only 10% or fewer visitors are tourists.

Speaking of Thai clubs, they have slightly different things compared to your favorite clubs back home. The clubs in Thailand usually don’t have a proper dance floor. The room is full of tables and chairs where you will spend most of your night. Thais love to dress up for a night out. No shorts and flip-flops, please!

To meet and watch ladyboys perform, you can go to a cabaret show in Bangkok. A cabaret show is a spectacular performance where ladyboys play specific roles to pay tribute to a famous world myth or legend, impersonate Hollywood celebrities or show the glamorous Thai culture on a stage.
